WE Reunion 94 - Wopping Fish Tale

Good Times as I recall Robin sent me fishing with her crazy cousins from Wisconsin, Mike, Tim, and Greg for my first family reunion. For those of you that missed that Reunion you can ask about the biggest fish we caught and all of us will tell you it was the biggest fish you ever saw(I believe about 3 to 4 feet in length maybe bigger ask Tim or Mike or maybe even Greg) The best part was everyone coming out of their tents and campers to see this great fish at about midnight and oh how shocked they all were. LOL Good Times and I have learned that Mike, Tim and Greg are not crazy but just good ole boys...It was a great time, and a great reunion in the Great state of Wisconsin with great hosts as well.. thanks

We Are Family - 25 Years and Counting

Next year's reunion holds a couple of "anniversaries." Did you realize that this is our 25th year holding consecutive reunions? Yep, this all started with Mom and Dad's, (Sherri and Ed) 25th Wedding Anniversary in 1986 and in 2011 along with celebrating 25 years of reunions, we will also be commemorating Sherri and Edward's 50th Wedding Anniversary.

25 years ago is a long time and I'm old, so I'm having a hard time getting a clear picture of the entire event...I do know we celebrated in the park across the street from Mom and Dad's house and I dimly recall the the Aunts and Uncles being there as well as Grandma and Grandpa; I think a few cousins were sprinkled in there too.

Gosh, alot has changed, weddings, divorces, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren...and this blog is dedicated to walking down that memory lane.

We are going to try and feature every reunion in the past 25 years. I would love to have some "guest" bloggers, so if you've hosted a reunion or just want to share about a particular "event"...let me know!

We would also love to have pictures...so if you would like post some of your photos please send them to me.

I'm excited for 2011 and I'm hoping to see all of you here.... in Colorado
