Next year's reunion holds a couple of "anniversaries." Did you realize that this is our 25th year holding consecutive reunions? Yep, this all started with Mom and Dad's, (Sherri and Ed) 25th Wedding Anniversary in 1986 and in 2011 along with celebrating 25 years of reunions, we will also be commemorating Sherri and Edward's 50th Wedding Anniversary.25 years ago is a long time and I'm old, so I'm having a hard time getting a clear picture of the entire event...I do know we celebrated in the park across the street from Mom and Dad's house and I dimly recall the the Aunts and Uncles being there as well as Grandma and Grandpa; I think a few cousins were sprinkled in there too.
Gosh, alot has changed, weddings, divorces, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren...and this blog is dedicated to walking down that memory lane.
We are going to try and feature every reunion in the past 25 years. I would love to have some "guest" bloggers, so if you've hosted a reunion or just want to share about a particular "event"...let me know!
We would also love to have pictures...so if you would like post some of your photos please send them to me.
I'm excited for 2011 and I'm hoping to see all of you here.... in Colorado
